Human Rights
The human rights programme is designed for the second cycle of primary and secondary schools. It is also open to university students or organised groups by appointment.
The programme focuses on the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms and mentions the name of General Bohuslav Ečer, who introduced the concept of "crimes against humanity". Students also explore concepts related to social behaviour that leads to violations of individual and group rights. They define the terms, reflect on the reasons, causes and consequences of human rights violations and look for possible solutions based on their own experiences and in their everyday lives.
The programme is scheduled for 120 minutes.
